Children Rising is an Oakland education non-profit founded in 2001. Our Community Engagement Model is poised to make a generational impact in our city. We are educating and energizing the broader community; recruiting, training, and supporting an array of highly skilled and experienced tutors and mentors; developing key strategic partnerships with schools and community partners; and empowering thousands of vulnerable children and youth to rise above the challenges they face.
